     DOSA

INGREDIENTS

  • Idli Rice - 3 cups
  • Urad Dal - 1 cup
  • Fenugreek Seeds -  1 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste

Soak rice and urad dal separately in water for atleast 6 hours. Grind rice and urad dal into a fine batter. Allow the batter to ferment for atleast 8 hrs. Add salt as per taste to the fermented batter. Heat a dosa pan and make dosas using the batter. Add ghee as per taste while making the dosa.

COCONUT CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS

  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Green Chillies - 3
  • Ginger - 1 inch pice
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp 
  • Red Chillies - 2
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  1. Grind grated coconut, green chillies, ginger, salt as per taste along with the 1/4 cup of water into a fine paste.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds when the oil is hot. Once the mustard seeds splutter, add red chillies and curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds and take of the heat.
  3. Add this mix to the ground coconut mix. Check for salt and add as per taste.
  4. Enjoy dosa with coconut chutney.
