THE GREATER CAROLINA KERALA ASSOCIATION

Dear friends and families,

There is no better worship than serving the community! It is an honor and privilege to be part of the 2023-24 GCKA Board of Directors. We are truly inspired and humbled by the previous BOD members, Nomination Committees as well as all the volunteers for their relentless work from the inception of GCKA and excited to be part of continuing this legacy.

GCKA has a rich history of diversity and inclusion. With the focused leadership of this organization, we have been able to affirm these important values in our everyday lives. As Keralites, we are proud of our culture, lineage, and traditions. Our motto for this year is “Fostering Friendships; Treasuring Traditions”. We all inherit the greatest DNA of the God’s Own Country, where unity in diversity is the central theme. It is a matter of pride to be part of it and GCKA will continue to serve as a platform that provides our members with opportunities to spend time with one another, share our thoughts and views, and pass on our culture to the future generations!

We embarked 2023 on a new note, regaining momentum aftermath of Covid pandemic. The previous BODs navigated us through all the ups and downs, strengthening the organization with their strong vision and dedication and were truly instrumental in bringing the community together. The baton has been passed on to us and now it’s time to take the lead and steer the organization forward with a strong zeal and commitment to the community. My passionate board members and I endeavor to serve the community showcasing the unity and richness in our heritage, culture, traditions, and customs at various platforms and taking GCKA to greater heights.

Our aim is to engage our existing members and expand our reach and it’s my humble hope and request to the GCKA families to come together, participate and provide us all the support that we need for the ensuing year, thereby fostering a strong bond in the years to come. Myself and my team, a very energetic and motivated group of board members, have envisioned and planned a plethora of activities for the upcoming year and solicit whole-hearted support from the community members.
